Day 4- Raspberry – Melon Cooler
What about a tantalizing smoothie comprising of raspberries, cool cucumbers, and refreshing cantaloupe? This combination is an awesome mix of sweet and tart as you may also choose to add honey dew.
These ingredients need to be in a refrigerator way before doing the mixing. Quantity will depend on how flavorful you want your smoothie to be. However, you need enough room on top of the blender to allow these fruits to move around easily. This smoothie contains 2 portions of fruits which help make it a delicious one to take at any time of the day.
Raspberries contain intense sweetness and are a fantastic way of increasing energy as well as soothing and cleansing your digestive system. Besides, it’s one of the few fruits that contains omega 3 fatty acids which are important in the absorption of fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Due to their high glucose content, you don’t need to add any sweetener to this weight loss smoothie.
As you possibly know, melons come with numerous benefits such as helping in digestive health, weight loss, and boosting of energy. Additionally, they contain anticancer properties. Cucumbers are great for hydration as they offer extra water to the smoothie. The smoothie also needs chia seeds which are rich in fiber and omega 3s to help you stay full all day long. For this smoothie, you may want to add coconut milk and ice to make it cooler and extra smooth.
